The 3rd annual Bridges from Badhdad concert will be presented by Iraqi Student Project on November 12th at 7:30PM at the Mundelein Auditorium on Loyola University's lake shore campus, 1020 W. Sheridan Road, Chicago. This year, Karam Salem's piano performance will be enlivened by the accompaniment of Anton Shamoun, an internationally known violinist. Iraqi folk music will be featured and Hala and Sarab will sing. Tickets for this event are $15 ($10 for students) with all proceeds going to support two young women from Baghdad now studying at DePaul and Loyola through ISP. Visit www.iraqidepaul |
